1-   Scientific projects funded from home and abroad:

Member in the joint project between Mejii University of  Pharmacy-Japan and Faculty of Pharmacy Al-Azhar University entitled "Studies on Materials and Epidemiology of Adult Diseases in Egypt" through the period 1995-1997, project number: 07041168.

Principle investigator in the scientific project " Phytochemical study of Egyptian medicinal plants which have a protective effect of the liver"  funded by Ain Shams University through  the period 2011 -2013.

Principle investigator in the centre of excellence at Faculty of Pharmacy-Ain Shams University, " Center for Drug Discovery & Development Research" funded by STDF for three years starting from March 2013.

 

 

2-    International relationships & co-operation:       

 

Research collaboration with scientists from the countries of Finland, Japan, Germany, China and South Korea since 2002 until now.

Development of Co-operation agreement in the field of traditional Chinese medicine between Heilongjiang University of Chinese medicine and Ain Shams University. -Activating the agreement with Harare University- Zimbabwe and Ain Shams University and recruitment of students to complete their postgraduate studies in Ain Shams University.

Citing the PhD thesis as a reference in the scientific writing, Brazilian journal of            Pharmacognosy: Singab ANBI1996. Phytochemical studies of  some potential            bioactive Egyptian plants.173p . PhD Thesis, Meiji University of Pharmacy.

Vice President of the supreme committee established for earning the CIQAP project for the Faculty of Pharmacy- Ain Shams University in 2008.

Awarded the Ain Shams University award the Prize of excellent research in the field of Pharmacognosy for the research entitled " Acetylated Flavonol Triglycosides from Ammi  majus L."(June 1999).

 Awarded the Cairo University Prize for the excellent research in the field of Pharmacognosy  for the research entitled" Hepatoprotective effects of flavonol glycosides rich fraction from Egyptian  Viciacalcarata Desf. Against CCl 4 induced            liver damage in rats."(April 2007). 

Awarded the prize of the best researcher in Mejii college of Pharmay-1994 - Certificates of Appreciation from the heads of Zagazig, Al-Azhar, Ain Shams, Addis  Ababa, Mejii Universities.
